About Us

Dr. Richard Dina, D.C. began his pursuit toward and study of optimum health in 1986.  He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut in 1989.  In 1990, he accepted a job as a chiropractic assistant, where he became impressed with the great results of chiropractic care he  had the opportunity to witness firsthand.

He graduated from the 750-hour Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage certification course at the Atlanta School of Massage in 1993 and went on to receive advanced certification in Sports Massage Therapy.  He was granted his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life College of Chiropractic in Marietta, GA in 1997.

From 1997 through 2001, he practiced at True North Health Education Center, a multi-disciplinary holistic health facility in Santa Rosa, CA.  At True North he practiced outpatient chiropractic care, as well as nutrition and lifestyle consulting at their associated residential health care facility; routinely helping patients recover from high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, autoimmune diseases, and other nutrition and lifestyle related ailments.

In 2002, Dr. Rick taught a required course, "The Determinants of Health," at Bastyr University in Seattle, WA; the flagship 4-year Naturopathic Medical School granting Doctorate degrees in Naturopathic Medicine.

After moving back to the Bay Area and practicing chiropractic in the South Bay for one year, Dr. Dina founded Living Health Chiropractic and Wellness Center (formerly Vitality Wellness Center) in January of 2004, where he offers chiropractic care, massage therapy, and nutrition consulting, classes, and workshops.
